Curator's note

Fluted glass is the lighting world's quiet flex. It costs more to make than smooth glass and it does something to the light that smooth glass can't — every rib catches a different angle and you end up with subtle stripes of warm cast on the wall behind. Amber is the obvious crowd-pleaser; green is for the confident.

Styling & installation

Hang the bottom of the shade 75–85 cm above a dining table or 60–70 cm above a kitchen island worktop. As a stairwell light, hang at first-floor eye level. Use Size B as a pair flanking an island; Size C as a single statement over a small dining table. Part-P electrician installs in 20–25 minutes.
