Wipe the wood with a barely-damp cloth — no oil-based polish, which can darken the grain unevenly. Tighten the clamp onto a flat shelf or headboard edge no thicker than ~3 cm; we recommend protecting fragile finishes with a small felt pad between the clamp and the surface. Plug directly into a wall socket. Pair with a warm-white 2700K E26 LED bulb (4–6W) for bedside reading, or a 5000K bulb (6–8W) for task work.
